Tom O’Brien
Tom O’Brien is principal with the Washington, DC-based legislative firm O’Brien DC. He serves as PMA’s representation in DC and has extensive experience in both state government (having served as deputy director of former California Gov. Gray Davis’ Washington office) and federal government (having served as associate administrator at the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service). He has also served the specialty crop industry as a lobbyist working on key issues such as the 2007 farm bill. He serves on USDA’s Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee on Trade in Fruits and Vegetables.
